To receive the "Nonprofit Discount Rate" for Stripe's payment processing fees, nonprofits must have 501(c)(3) status and an EIN number.
The discounted rate will lower your donation processing fees from 2.9% + $0.30 to 2.2% + $0.30. (AmEx rates may vary up to 3.5%)
HOW TO APPLY:
In order to apply for the discount, email Stripe with your organization's EIN number and a request for the discount to [email protected]. You can also find more information about this subject on the Stripe Support Page.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
Stripe does not retroactively apply the nonprofit discount, so please submit your request for the discount as early as possible so you can receive the discounted rate on all donations moving forward.
Stripe does not notify Harness when you are approved. Please email your CS Specialist with the confirmed discount approval so we can adjust your Harness platform to offer a more accurate cover fee to your donors.
