When does a donor's monthly gift withdraw?
Your donor's first monthly gift will withdraw on the date your donor creates their monthly gift through your Harness fundraising page and subsequent monthly gifts will withdraw on that date each month (ex: creates donation on 15th of this month - 1st gift withdraws that day, subsequent gifts withdraw on 15th of each month).

Can my donor set up a gift now and choose when they want their donation to withdraw, or change their gift date after creating a donation?
When a donor creates a new monthly gift, the initial donation will process immediately. While we do not currently provide the ability for a donor to schedule their 1st gift to process on a specific date, after creating a monthly gift, a donor can edit the donation date from their personal Donor Dashboard by going to Recurring and selecting Edit then choosing the date they'd prefer their gift to continue processing in the future.

They can log into their personal Donor Dashboard through any of your Harness fundraising pages and update this via this guide.

How can my donor cancel their monthly gift? Can I do this for them?
They can log into their personal Donor Dashboard through any of your Harness fundraising pages and cancel this via this guide. You can also cancel a monthly gift on behalf of a donor by clicking on Reports > Monthly > Identify the Gift > Click the 3 Stacked Dots to the right of the Gift > Cancel Gift.

Does Harness offer alternate giving timeline options (ex: annual, quarterly, etc.)?
As research has shown the most sustainable gifts (ex: 5+ years) are monthly, we currently offer monthly only options at this time. You can request additional timeline options here.
